Pool Opening Delayed due to Necessary Repairs:
Unfortunately, some of the critical replacement parts required to complete the repairs have not yet been delivered. A & B Pools is working closely with suppliers to expedite the shipment and will make the repairs as soon as the parts arrive.
We understand how much everyone looks forward to enjoying the pool, and we share your disappointment in this unexpected delay. Please rest assured that we are doing everything possible to open the pool as soon as possible.
We will provide an update with a revised opening date as soon as we have more information. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
WPMD 2-Day Non-Potable Home Irrigation Schedule
Non-Potable Water & Irrigation Turn-on Information
WPMD Non-potable water system is supplied by the local river/ditch systems and reservoirs where WPMD has water shares. WPMD or the Ditch Company does not know when the river water will come in and/or when there is enough water to re-fill our non-potable water storage pond for operations. The WPMD storage pond will hold about 10 to 14 days of scheduled watering. WPMD must have river water coming in to re-fill the storage pond or the pumps will shut down.
All water deliveries to WPMD non-potable water storage pond depends on previous seasons weather, run offs and levels of the local rivers. Thank you for your patience.
THE NON-POTABLE WATER SYSTEM WILL BE ACTIVATED FOR RESIDENTS ON MAY 20, 2025. ALL RESIDENTIAL CLOCKS MUST BE UPDATED WITH THE NEW IRRIGATION SCHEDULE. THOSE RESIDENTS WHO DO NOT UPDATE THE SCHEDULE IN THEIR CLOCKS MAY BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE FINES.
Coordinate any scheduled maintenance on your irrigation system with your watering schedule.
Do not go into the District Meter Pit which is in your back yard.
• Make sure your irrigation system main valve is turned on and your blow out valve is closed.
• The main water valve is on in your irrigation valve box, NOT IN THE DISTICT METER PIT.
• Make sure the rain sensor is not full of water. If you do not have one, you should install & set at ½ to ¾ inch.
• Make sure the inline filter is not clogged. Take off and clean any debris that can clog whole line.
• Do not run system without an inline filter.
• Clean/adjust irrigation heads weekly.
• Make sure the irrigation clock is turned on and set to water at the correct time per the
watering schedule.
• Check back up battery in your irrigation clock.
• This is a good time to check your irrigation system for a blow-out stub.
• A blow-out stub is needed if you have your individual system blown-out by a private contractor in the event you miss the system blow-out in October.
• The District will NOT assist any owner who isn’t sure of how to work the system.
Once your yard has greened up, it is recommended to reduce watering to 12 - 14 minutes per zone. Residents should perform regular maintenance on their irrigation system by cleaning inline filters and irrigation heads. Adjust sprinkler heads to spray the lawn and not the driveway or sidewalk. If you see a lot of water flowing off your lawn, you may need to treat your soil with additives to get more water absorption and cut back on how much you are watering.
